As you might know from my brief bio here on the site, I write for a living. The East Nashville Blog is a labor of love, and the thing about labors of love is that they necessarily hit the sidelines when your professional life is taken over by a big project. I’m currently in the throes of such an undertaking, and since I also serve as the lone editor here in addition to my writing duties, that means the blog is going on hiatus. We’re certainly not going away completely – there will probably be an occasional post or two while my attention is held by the work that pays my bills, but I won’t make any guarantees because the project I’m working on is all-consuming. One thing is for sure: I’ll be looking forward with great anticipation to jumping headlong back into the East Nashville scene once this project is concluded next month.
To all who read this blog, on a daily basis or otherwise – thank you. Your support means a lot, both to me and to my staff of writers, and I hope you’ll return when we’re back in action once again.
