An impending house closing and some tight, looming deadlines at the day job have me too busy for regular posting on the East Nashville Blog at the moment, but I wanted to take a quick moment to let all of you know that yes, we are still here, and yes, we will be getting back to our normal music and food blogging fairly soon. That regular posting will actually be interrupted again at the end of the month for a bit longer; I’ll have more on that for you soon.
In the meantime, I just want to tell you all that it’s really been something special watching this city come together in the wake of the flood, with or without attention from the national media. The response of people here in Nashville – getting to work regardless of who’s paying attention – is the kind of thing that makes me proud to call this city home.
